Whether you are a homeowner, landowner, developer or a technical professional who works within the planning system, we can provide you with impartial and honest planning advice in regard to your development proposals on your land / building or indeed, on any speculative purchase.
One of the key benefits of obtaining advice early doors is that we can advise whether there are any policy or likely technical challenges, or whether any strategies which may need to be considered if moving forward with a proposal in order to give your development the best chance of success should it require permission.

Whilst we always recommend obtaining advice from a Chartered Town Planner prior to submission of any application, it is not uncommon for us at ABL Planning & Development to be brought into the process once an application has been submitted to the Local Planning Authority, particularly if there is an impasse with the Council regarding the planning merits of an application. With our expertise and input, we have been successful in achieving many favourable recommendations on applications which were previously heading for refusal. If you are an agent/applicant and have found yourself at an impasse with the Local Planning Authority, or need additional documentation, please do not hesitate to contact us.
At ABL Planning & Development, we prepare stand alone planning documents / reports which may be required as part of your application submission. The type of reports that will be required to support your application will be largely dependent on the type of application being submitted and the Local Planning Authority which you are submitting the application to.
The most common reports we prepare for applications are:
-
planning statements
-
greenbelt statements
-
sequential assessments
-
statements of community involvement
-
heritage impact assessments
-
statements to support certificates of existing/proposed lawful use/development
