We often hear from non- planning colleagues in the industry that one particular application which they really dislike submitting is lawful development certificates for home owners. This is mainly due to the vast amount of compliance required with the GPDO (as amended) Schedule 2, Part 1 in its entirety, that often catches many out.

By offering a sense check service to our colleagues, we are pleased to announce that this month, we have seen a run of Certificate of Lawful Development being issued to our architect colleagues without any hassle.
